Kevin Garnett Announced Cover Athlete for NBA 2K9

The Celtics own Kevin Garnett was announced cover athlete for 2K Sports’ upcoming NBA 2K9 today. Certainly a good choice considering the Celtics are really quite big at the moment. Now, lets see how he plays in the finals.

    This is just more positive energy to fuel the Celtics’ championship run against the Lakers.

    Here’s hoping the Lakers can serve up a nice big chunk of humble pie and get that ring. Yes, I’m a Laker fan and proud of it. Kobe is the MVP. He’ll follow that up as a series MVP and finally that coveted 4th ring.

    Good news is that if we go to EA’s b-ball game the Lakers take it in game 7 although they’re predictions have already gone wrong as they had the Lakers winning game 1. It’s still early and even if the Lakers lose Sunday (which they won’t) the next 3 games are in L.A. which gives us the chance to sweep them in the Staples Center then come back to Boston to finish them off.
