Kojima Makes Fun of Xbox 360’s DVD-Format in MGS4

Hideo Kojima really seems to like his PLAYSTATION 3 hardware choice. In a codec call in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Otacon tells Snake that it is time to switch to disc two, but then realizes they are on a PLAYSTATION 3 and there is no need for it since it is a Blu-Ray disc. Nice one Kojima!

    Who wants to point out to him that it would be quicker to swap DVDs between acts than it would to sit through a 2-5 minute install between them?

    But yeah, it’s more of an MGS1 joke. The call comes in at the same place that the real disc change does in that game.
