Prototype Multiplayer May Still Make It to Final Game

PlayStation 3 Xbox 360

Radical Entertainment executive producer Tim Benninson has said that the developer is “evaluating” Prototype’s multiplayer and it may make it to the final game after all.

In March, Benninson said that the multiplayer had been cut from the game.

“We’re trying to create the best possible single player experience,” the producer stated. “It’s an origin story and if we are successful, we’re hoping it’s the start of a franchise.

“But to do this, you’ve got to establish a great core single player experience. Having said that, we are still evaluating multiplayer to see if we can make it work in our development schedule.”

More months to work on the game means more months for new features. We hope online play makes it in.
