Rumor: Official Firmware v2.40 Walkthrough Coming June 30th

Consoul, a very well-known and trusted member of NeoGAF, stated that the video walkthrough for firmware v2.40 including screenshots of in-game XMB, new profiles and such will all be coming on Monday, June 30, 2008.

“Official announcement on the 30th.
The video walkthrough and official screens of in-game XMB, profiles and trophies will all be out on Monday.”

Thats the start of next week. Hey if anything, we can wait.

    I had my mind set that they were going to announce this during E3 and maybe have some games that take advantage of it. Then again they could still have some games to show off.

    All this 2.40 news is getting me anxious.

    Didn’t that tipster the other day say that 1-3rd was when 2.4 goes live too? This really sounds like the real deal.
