SOCOM: Confrontation Public Beta Officially Announced

David Brothers of SOCOM.com updated us on the upcoming public beta for SOCOM: Confrontation for the PLAYSTATION 3. There are two ways to get into the beta, which will b e released this hot summer.

One way is through a pre-order program (hopefully not as bad as the Metal Gear Online pre-order situation went). The other will be through Qore, which was announced earlier today. Whoever gets the issue releasing Thursday will have access to the beta when it is available.

    Allow me to refresh your mind. :)

    The whole MGO beta situation went wrong when many of the pre-order codes (including mine) wouldn’t work when trying to download the beta and Konami took forever to send you a new one (I got mine a week after the beta started).

    I don’t see the relevance to the MGO beta.
