June 5th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
i agree with BandAiD
June 5th, 2008 at 7:41 pm
I would say live by maybe 8pm est. Still waiting….
June 5th, 2008 at 7:43 pm
I have this crazy theory that SCEA is waiting for SCEI to release 2.40 update, before the new content can go live. Like QORE is something new to the store and stuff (maybe its own section?), and requires an update.
I’m just being wishful though prob.

Valid but if they were going to release a FW update they would have done it before a thursday so people dont have to wait longer for their new DLC.
It is taking them long though.

Shibbs,
This is Sony we’re talking about here, they are Royally famous for pushing stuff back, take a look at Home.
June 5th, 2008 at 8:43 pm
Yeah but they’ve never did a FW and Store update on the same day.
June 5th, 2008 at 9:50 pm
Yeah they have 2.17 I believe was done in the wee hours of thursday morning.
June 5th, 2008 at 9:55 pm
okay, but not so close to the actual time of the store update.
June 5th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
its soo long before the store update i was waiting for Quore…i wanna see what it’s look like!
June 5th, 2008 at 10:18 pm
Weird that by 10pm, its still not updated. The other regions are updated which leads me to think its something with Qore thats causing the delay.
June 5th, 2008 at 10:23 pm
yeah i think its Quore too because its the first time they are that late!
June 5th, 2008 at 10:33 pm
where the heck is Qore? i’m getting impatient. hopefully Sony will release a statement about the hold-up. also heard a rumor that in-game XMB on June 10. hope it’s true.
June 5th, 2008 at 10:39 pm
no finally its not coming on June 10 it will probably be on June 18… wait and see
June 5th, 2008 at 10:39 pm
It is a bit weird, I never it remember lasting this long for an update. Perhaps they will be rolling out 2.40? Perhaps not. I just want the update, get me some demos.
June 5th, 2008 at 10:46 pm
Yeah i’m thinking it’s a problem with qore also, since were the only ones getting it(US) and the other stores have been updated.
June 5th, 2008 at 10:47 pm
no they will not release 2.40 for sure!
June 5th, 2008 at 10:58 pm
