Artdink has released some new information on their upcoming PLAYSTATION 3 game Aquanaut’s Holiday. The concept of the game is based on Artdink’s PSone game of the same name. This is a remake of that game.
Aquanaut’s Holiday is an adventure game where the main character goes after a missing oceanographer with records he left behind.
Gamers will travel in the “Dolphin 2″, a mini-submarine that has a built in AI interface making it easy to explore the sea and solve various puzzles.
The game will be published by Sony Computer Entertainment and released in Japan on September 25, 2008 for 5,980 yen in Japan. Considering the PSone Aquanaut’s Holiday came to the US, I have no doubt that the PS3 Aquanaut’s Holiday will come here as well.

Maybe we see this title around Europe too…I think Sony should bring over all the great japanese titles…Tears to Tiara, Yakuza 3 just to name a few (at least help the developers bring it over). If they did it, the PS3 among the consumers would be much more compelling and attractive.
