LittleBigPlanet Install Is ‘Around a Gig’

PlayStation 3

Eurogamer has up a new interview with David Smith, co-founder and technical director of Media Molecule, who is currently working on LittleBigPlanet.

David Smith confirms that a beta trial is happening for the game, and some people already have trials in progress.

He confims that trophies will be in the game, and they are having a lot of fun working out what trophies there will be.

He says that LittleBigPlanet is going to include a mandatory installation to the PLAYSTATION 3’s HDD. He says “The HD install is perhaps around a gig. Perhaps more or less. It’s not finalised yet.” then he smiled. I’d prefer a zero MB installation and end this constant flow of installation-required games. How about you?

1GB is nothing to sacrifice for what I assume will be a masterpiece.

If there’s any game that will truly spark the need to earn trophies this is it.

    Can’t wait!

If it means having virtually no load times that it requires a installation, im completely fine with it.
