Rumor: Upcoming Metal Gear Online Content

A new rumor has surfaced for the upcoming Metal Gear Online downloadable content. According to the rumor, on July 17, 2008 in Japan, a new expansion pack will release and will cost 1200 yen (or 1500 yen for the DLC with a new character slot), and will include:

• Johnny and Meryl will be added.
• Ability to create female characters.
• Three new stages: Shadow Moses, Mei Ling’s Ship, and Heliport (Metal Gear Solid).
• Official Survival Mode added.

Along with this, on July 4, two new game rules will be added:

• Team Scanning – teams split into sneaking and defending, sneaking team will be able to use stealth ability.
• Head-Shot Only Kills

We will see whether this is true or false when the update comes.
