Rumor: What to Expect from Sony at E3 2008

According to PlayStation LifeStyle, who have been correct on many rumors before, this is what we can expect at E3 2008 for Sony.

• God Of War III Teaser Trailer (no actual gameplay) will be shown.
• Two New Exclusive games will be announced – One from Incognito, and the other game being similar to Buzz! and SingStar in which its made for casual gamers, but thanks to several features it will also target the hardcore gamer audience.
• A major new feature will be announced for LittleBigPlanet.
• Two new PLAYSTATION Network features will be shown.
• New Home feature will be announced.
• Expect gameplay and trailers from all the major games that are to be released this year such as SOCOM: Confrontation, Motorstorm 2, etc.

While that is nice and all, we are just hoping that Sony, as well as some third party companies, announced some new RPGs hopefully exclusive to the PLAYSTATION 3, such as a new Tales game.

    They probably took it from those translated famitsu articles saying it was coming to the PS3…as Sal said they misinterpreted all this.

    confirmed a new Tales title for PS3 will be revealed later this year
    it was a rumor and now it’s confirmed, shouldn’t they say “famitsu(or scrawl) confirmed there will be a new tales game for ps3″ if they indeed took it from you?

    Thing is, The-MagicBox isn’t really a source. They don’t list any confirmation whatsoever, they just write down the latest in gaming and post it on their site. They probably misinterpreted our news rumor as a fact.

    good rpgs huh? name 3 that’s out that got a metacritic score above 80.(bet you disgaea 3 will get a higher score then mostly all their rpgs)

    Tales of is not confirmed until some Namco rep says it’s actually coming…

    Face it nowadays the Xbox360 is where all the good RPGs are…of course, at this point. That’s why I bought a Xbox360. >___>

    @caelum annnnnnnd? those 2 may not make it out of japan but eternal sonata most likely will and even if they don’t. you can still play them. no the tales game was not a rumor it was later confirmed by another source, if sal would post all the shit i send him you might know this ;). LO and BD are both medicore, eternal sonata is the only GOOD rpg 360 has and that’s now coming to ps3. we’ll have 8 rpgs this year(released in america or not) with only 2 being srpgs. which still count as jrpgs.

    Caelum has a major point over you there. We are getting two RPGs this year, and they are both SRPGs.

    As for good 360 RPGs, open your eyes: Star Ocean IV, Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Odyssey, The Last Remnant (first on 360), Tales of Vesperia, and more. These are all great games, you are just stuck in a state of PS3-fanboyism and can’t admit it.

    I love my PS3, but it is unfair that 360 is getting all the RPGs and we are forced to suffer with games like Untold Legends.

    Tears to Tiara, White Album, and Eternal Sonata are most likely stuck in Asian territories. The Tales game was just a rumor, and we have no idea whether it is true or false. You are just taking in false information.

    Tears to Tiara, White Album, Eternal Sonata…these games are not making it’s way out of Japan/Asia.

    the Tales of (PS3) is just a rumor…the Famitsu magazine was just asking if a new Tales of game for PS3 would be announced for the PS3, they didn’t confirm anything.

    I really hope 3rd party developers show some love! exclusives RPGs please!

    Disgaea 3, Valkyrie Chronicles, White Knight, Final Fantasy XIII, Tears To Tiara, White Album, Eternal Sonata PS3, The Last Remnant, and A new ps3 tales game. all these games will be released before march 09.

    and yes GOW III would steal the show, even if halo 4 was shown.

    You sure have a point here; Infinite Undiscovery looks good, The Last Remnant which is coming first to X360, Star Ocean 4 T_T (this one is awesome!) oh…Tales of Vesperia.

    I love my PS3…but the lack of RPGs made me buy an Xbox360.

    All the good PS3 RPGs are coming…sure they are but in 2009 most likely 2010 >__>’

    Gof Of War III wouldn’t steal the show if Halo 4 is shown as rumors has it.

    I wish Sony could fund some RPGs (White Knight Stories) on their own just like M$ did with Infinite Undiscovery and the Tales of Vesperia…not counting the timed exclusivity of Eternal Sontata, exclusivity of Blue Dragon(mkay, it just fails), Lost Oddysey…and we can keep coming and naming all X360 RPGs…

    I’m really tired of hearing all the same games everytime it comes to Sony…Motorstorm 2, LBP, KZ2, R2, SOCOM…Where’s the 3rd party love? -non existent-. I think the main reason I bought a PS3 was for the RPGs…which the PS3 is lacking.
