Soul Calibur IV PS3 Install is 2.85GB, 2+MB Installs

According to a new scan in a Japanese gaming magazine, the PLAYSTATION 3 version of Soul Calibur IV will contain a 2.85GB installation along with 2,084KB (2MB) save files. Two gigs aren't as bad as the rumored eight gigs, but there is still no excuses for installations at all.

Update: According to VG247, they are being told the UK Soul Calibur IV build has an optional installation. When they confirm this, we will be sure to update you.
More than happy if its optional. But if fighting games start to require mandatory 2GB+ installs, then i guess theres really no hope left for developers to start caring for the PS3 version of games. Maybe its finally time for me to fork over $100 for that new 320GB hard drive…
