The PS2, Wii, PC and Xbox 360 versions of Alone In The Dark were highly critisized when they were released due to glitches and other problems in the game. However, for PLAYSTATION 3 owners waiting for the game, there is a glimmer of hope that it will still be the game it was supposed to. Atari have announced that the PLAYSTATION 3 version of the game will undergo some improvements in terms of gameplay.
We can only hope it comes out well.
[Alone in the Dark PS3: the Plus version?]

I didn’t even realize the game was released. I guess that shows how underwhelming the game was. At any rate, this time having to wait for the PS3 version has its benefits.
Of course the spin from Sony could be that because of the difficulty level of the system it forces developers to spend more time with a game and really dig into what makes the PS3 special and add that to their game. Of course, having to wait for a dud even if it has better graphics is still a dud.
A shame too. This was supposed to be Phil’s inaugural release. Not that he has anything at all to do with the programming but it’s just as shame the game didn’t do as well as Atari/Inogrames would’ve thought.
