Life With PlayStation On The Way

Life with PlayStation isn’t here just yet, Sony is still pushing some paperwork as they’ve said in an update today.

However, when it does launch, it will be an easily accessible program that you launch from the XMB that feeds content such as news updates and weather onto your PLAYSTATION 3. You view all this content on a visually stunning globe, sort of like the Wii’s news and weather channels, but in one.

Life with PlayStation also ties in with Folding@home, meaning you’ll be helping cure diseases while Folding@home runs in the background of Life with PlayStation.

Now let’s see if they can get it out at the end of August like they promised.

    I totally forgot about this update. We were supposed to have it this month but I think all the attention from the GC took away from that.

    Good to hear that Folding@Home will work in the background. That’s a nice feature.
