Rumor: Max Payne 3 In Development at Rockstar Toronto?

According to Xbox World 360 magazine, Max Payne 3 is in development and it has moved from it’s original developer, Remedy, to Rockstar Toronto, who previously developed The Warriors for PS2 and Xbox.

“While Rockstar aren’t patently going to be able to bang the game out in time to coincide with Marky Mark Wahlberg’s forthcoming cinematic portrayal of New York’s most tragic cop, we’re guessing they’re at least going to ride in on the back of it,” says XBW.

The film is releasing, so why wouldn’t Rockstar be doing a new game? We’ll find out soon enough.
