NYCC ‘09: Prototype Confirmed for June 2009

At the New York Comic-Con, Activision has confirmed that their upcoming mutation of a game, Prototype, will in fact be released in June 2009. It’s been rumored before, but now it is official.

In order Activision NYCC news, they have X-Men: Origins and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 on video display, and you can try out Prototype at their booth as well this week. Activision will also be hosting two panels at the show.

Radical Entertainment will be holding a panel on Friday, February 6th starting at 7:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM showcasing new gameplay footage of Prototype. Raven Software and Vicarious Visions will be hosting a panel on Sunday, February 8th starting at 11:15 AM and ending at 12:15 PM showcasing the development and evolution of Marvel Comic Book Characters in video games.
