Blackrock Studios’ Split Second Debut Trailer

That street racing project that was revealed in a “leaked” trailer last month from Disney Interactive’s Blackrock Studios was unveiled last night on GameTrailers TV. The game’s called Split Second, and from the looks of the trailer, the environment will have a big role in this game, as we see highways crumbling and sewage pipes bursting.     Too bad the trailer was all CG but I like what they’re doing with the game. Love the idea of the cars being cars but the environment being the weapon they use as opposed to hood mounted guns, oil slick guns or flamethrowers in the grill.

    Still, if this is the same group that did Pure I’m sure the final real time engine will look incredible and probably really close to the trailer.

      Pure was a really fun game so I have high expectations for this. Plus with the huge amount of tracks in Pure, I can only expect so many diverse locations in this game.
