SCEJ Trademarks “PSCloud”

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan trademarked “PS Cloud“, protecting it for future uses in video game-related subjects, like “entertainment services, namely, providing an on-line video game that users may access through the internet.”

Sony may be following in the footsteps of the GDC-announced OnLive service and somehow allowing gamers to play games that aren’t stored locally on their consoles.
