Star Ocean 4 PS3 Scan Is Fake

While clearly very well made, the scan we posted today, supposedly a Famitsu scan regarding Star Ocean: The Last Hope arriving on PlayStation 3 in Summer 2009, is a fake.

This week’s Famitsu table of contents has no mention of Star Ocean: The Last Hope under PlayStation 3. Other sources, claiming the scan is from Dengeki, are also proven wrong as the scan uses Famitsu’s game preview format.

So it’s fake, but hope’s not all lost, PS3 RPG fans. Remember, the game was never labeled an Xbox 360 exclusive.
