Square Enix countdown leads to July 6th reveal

Square Enix Japan has launched a new countdown timer for an upcoming “NEW GAME” from the company. As of now, the countdown currently displays a clock with around 298 hours left and the artwork above. Judging by our calculations, it looks like the countdown is going to end on July 6th.

What is it for? We’re not sure.
