I can still digress on how great Splinter Cell: Conviction looked when they showed us the first footage during E3 2009. However, today we have some new footage. A new developer diary from the team at Ubisoft on the subject of stealth in the game explains the game’s ability to immerse players into an action full scene of fighting, but then jump right back into a stealthy Sam.

Read on for the clip.

The more I see this game the more I want a 360 and at the same time I grow to dislike MGS4 more and more.

I want to like MGS4 but I feel like the stealth play is being forced on me since going run-and-gun style is the absolute wrong way to play. Soldiers keep coming like flies to s*** and in some cases there’s no where to hide from the enemy so you can dodge their radar and send them back to their patrol duties.

I’m still holding off on getting a 360 until probably next year in the hopes that the rumored NatalBox will come out and have, at the very least, a pre-installed wifi adapter and controllers you can charge via USB. Or maybe I’ll get one when they drop the price later this year.

Either way I have to get my hands on Conviction.
