White Knight Chronicles Sequel In The Works

The latest issue of Famitsu has a feature on the upcoming 2nd wave update to White Knight Chronicles, which is the second big update to the game since the 1st wave update in Spring. In the article, however, White Knight Chronicles II is mentioned more than once.

“In White Knight Chronicles, your character only tagged along. In White Knight Chronicles II, your character will be treated differently.” Another section of the article read that the “story is not yet complete” going into the obvious statement that “a sequel is being made”.

So Level 5 is working on White Knight Chronicles II. Too bad we’re still waiting for the first game to hit our shores. I’d really like to see them start work on a Dark Cloud 3 or even a whole new IP, though.
