Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo now available to all

Uncharted 2’s multiplayer mode can be tested by everyone today via a public demo downloadable on the PlayStation Store, Naughty Dog has announced today.

The multiplayer demo includes four maps, four competitive modes and two cooperative modes. The game will automatically record matches you play in and are viewable in Cinema mode in-game. You can watch your own replays, take screenshots and make videos using the Machinima game mode and Stage map.

The demo’s out today. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves releases for PlayStation 3 in North America on October 13, 2009, with a European release following on October 16th.

    Uncharted 2 is brilliant looking, the first multiplayer demo was splendid. Honestly, nothing against LIVE and Xbox fanboys, but I got the same seamless online gameplay from the Uncharted 2 demo on PSN that I would’ve gotten on LIVE, for FREE! If you don’t have a PS3 yet, now’s the time to get one!

    Forget everything I just said, the multiplayer demo is HOT! I only played it for about 30 minutes and I was hooked. Not sure why this seems more fun than the beta they had a few months ago. Could be the location or something or maybe it was because the session I played was RPGs only, which was literally a blast.

    Awesome, completely awesome. I can myself spending hours and hours in multiplayer.

    I’ll probably download it just so I can sharpen my skills before the main game is released but I’ve had enough of the multiplayer. I want the campaign.

    My guess is that if we see a demo of the single player game at all it’ll be after the games’ release.

    A multiplayer only demo? Urgh.

    Can’t wait for the game though, I have it pre-ordered!
