Microsoft testing out new rewards program for Xbox LIVE

Microsoft is testing out a new rewards program for Xbox LIVE on Xbox 360, they company has confirmed today.

“We are always exploring ways to provide the most value for our members and are currently testing a pilot rewards program with a select base of our Xbox LIVE community in the US,” a spokesman told Kotaku. “We have no further details to share at this time.”

We’re not exactly sure what kind of rewards Xbox LIVE users will be entitled too, but I’m going to take a wild guess and say Avatar items, Microsoft points, and stuff like that for frequent Xbox LIVE-ers.
