Mistwalker artist accidentally leaking new game artwork?

Yasuhito Watanabe, an artist working at Mistwalker, may have unknowingly leaked art on the developer’s next game; the same game they’ve said is near completion just recently.

Watanabe’s new personal page on the Mistwalker website reveals a photo of him at work. On his monitors, a drawing he’s working on of grassy fields, sheep and what appears to be a woman in progress is shown. This may just be Mistwalker’s next project.

Since we haven’t seen anything from Mistwalker in a while in terms of console games, any little thing helps.

    Interesting! It looks cel-shaded in style, but who can tell, it might be just concept art. Still, it’s good to know Mistwalker is hard at work on their new title!
