This Final Fantasy XIII box art is fan-made

To some extent, at least. The reason I bring this up is because it is appearing on the net as an official release on Square Enix. Allow me to clarify. The Final Fantasy XII box-art you see snipped above and over at RPGSite is fan-made. It was submitted to VGBoxart on September 30th and can also be seen in our gallery.

It was obviously based off the box art shown off at TGS, which looks exactly the same, but whether or not Square Enix will actually be using it is as the final box art is a mystery to us.

So yes, it’s fan-made (the digital version, at least).

    As cool as it is, I don’t think it fits for the game’s box art. I wouldn’t mind just the logo, with perhaps a scene from the game faded into it, one without characters in view.

    i doubt it that SE would use Fanmade Boxarts, but latly SE going the Cheap way anything is possible.
