A new patch for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is now available for download upon boot, Naughty Dog has announced today on the PlayStation.Blog.

The patch has several fixes, including penalizing those players who decide to leave a multiplayer match early and fixing a trophy description. The full list of fixes can be seen below.

  • Addressed respawn points when the artifact goes out of bounds in the Plunder gametype
  • Dynamically adjust the win condition for fewer players during the course of a match
  • Added features to deter players from voluntarily leaving during a match
  • Added rate limit to “When a Chapter is Completed” Twitter event
  • Fixed a display issue during letterboxing
  • Fixed Danish Trophy description
  • Fixed screenshot utility in standard definition resolutions
  • Fixed the “Players Met” list not displaying recent players
  • Addressed a variety of Multiplayer connectivity issues

That’s not all, however. In light of Halloween tomorrow, Naughty Dog is hosting their first Double Cash Weekend for Uncharted 2. You’ll earn twice the cash you’d normally earn from a multiplayer match, plainly said. The event starts tomorrow at 11:00 AM PST and ends on November 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM PST.

Finally, Naughty Dog has hinted at the game’s first downloadable content, which looks to involve robots of some kind (top image).

Those are Skelzor the skeleton multiplayer skin, it was shipped with the game itself. If you don’t see it in multiplayer skins at first, play the single player mode to unlock it and a bunch of others… My 2nd play through of single player is using that skin.
