During an interview with VideoGamer, BioWare head honcho Ray Muzyka has said that cooperative gameplay may be an option for future Mass Effect or Dragon Age titles.

“Sure, we would consider it. We haven’t announced anything on that front yet, but those are interesting ideas. They could make a great gameplay experience. Whether we’ll do them or not remains to be decided.

“We’ve done it, and we’re doing it again now in Star Wars: The Old Republic. But it is challenging,” he added.

The second game in the Mass Effect series hits store shelves this January for Xbox 360 and PC.

One Response to “Future Mass Effect titles may feature co-op, says Muzyka”

  1. As long as it doesn’t interfere with the core game then I have nothing against the addition of Co-Op. What I don’t like is when a game almost forces it or only puts it in to be “Online”. But I dont think Bioware would do something like that, and any co-op they add will be handled very well.
