I agree with Pitchford on this. The treating of the PS3 as second class or simply not ‘worth’ developing for is more like the ranting of a teenage fanboy than a respected development company. I have never understand such an attitude.

On another note, I am not a fan of steam by any means. I have bought one game from steam and I did not enjoy the process, and it took so long to download it was hardly worth it. I can never see it, or anything like it, overtaking the physical media market at all.

I do like Valve, but sometimes they come out with some pretty odd statements!

Finally, someone calling out Valve on their utterly stupid and nonsensical decision to treat the PS3 like it’s worthless. It’d be one thing if he was digging on the (never released) Phantom or if this was still the era of the Atari Jaguar but we’re talking about Sony and the Playstation brand. To not want to support that is just mindless and irresponsible in my opinion.

I’m glad this guy came out and called them out without mincing words.
