Sam Fisher’s a badass. Want proof? A new developer diary from the guys working on Splinter Cell: Conviction down at Ubisoft Montreal is all the proof you need.

You’ll see Fisher, acting like an action-movie star. He has a right to be. They kidnapped his daughter, you know. So now Fisher, the best agent that ever was, doesn’t play by the rules anymore. There’s nothing to contain him, so he’s allowed to be as bad as he wants. There’s also some information about Sam’s devices, his movement, combat, voice-overs and more.

The game’s out February 2010.
