The Last Remnant PS3 officially dead?

Looks like Square Enix may be putting the final nail in the coffin on The Last Remnant for PlayStation 3; the company’s latest “Square Enix Magazine” does not list the title as an upcoming game in the future release calendar.

The game is still listed on the official site under a TBA release date, so we can’t be too sure. But, the Xbox 360 version released back in November and Square Enix has already made some comments in the past that the PlayStation 3 version is dead.

I’ll shoot an e-mail over the Square Enix USA and ask them what’s going on with the game.

    I always feel that this game, while in no way SE’s best, was the victim of an almost nauseatingly unfair witchunt from “proffesional” reviewers, who quite obviously had an ulterior agenda which something at the time. This of course will have affected sales from those people who read the likes of IGN before making a buying decision (and fair enough).

    Sure, the game had problems, but they were in no way on the levels that certain people claimed. I would have liked to see the game on PS3 if only to widen the audience, but alas.

      ITA! I really liked the battle system in this game. They should of used another engine.
