Final Fantasy XIII midnight launch in images, video

Final Fantasy XIII launched in Japan a little over four hours ago. Signing onto the PlayStation Network on my account shows my Japanese friend with a little game icon and Final Fantasy XIII under his name. For the past four hours, he’s been playing. It makes me a bit sad inside that it’s not me. I’ll stop, I’m going to go completely off topic.

    Wow nice. I’ve never been to a midnight launch before, though I’d be willing to do it for something like FFXIII. Thankfully I already have it pre ordered though!

    Did the ffxiii come with a beta promo code like many are speculating about lol?
