Final Fantasy XIII North American box art revealed

PlayStation 3 Xbox 360

ff13-na-boxart

Earlier today, the European box art released for Final Fantasy XIII and tonight the North American box art releases. Fact is, they’re both exactly the same. There’s but one difference (pst! look at the ESRB rating).

Check out high-res versions of the North American box at the gallery.

  1. I am extremely excited for this game, and whatever the box art looks like will not change my excitement nor keep me from purchasing this very fantastic looking game in March… BUT I will go ahead and say that I am disappointed with the decided look. I wont lie, I was looking for something a little more. This game has so much fabulous art! I never would have thought that the desired NA box art would be a blank background with Lightning. Oh well, as others have stated I am hoping for a special edition with something more fascinating to look at and that reveals a bit more of the artistic quality this game has.

    CANT WAIT! Haha.

No suprise that NA and Europe get the same boxart since they will release the same day. I like it. Im all about the disc in the case.

don’t like, I hope the special edition has better boxart

  5. I like the simplistic design.

  6. SQUARE-ENIX, please release a special edition with a unique case (regular sized – not one of those huge ones) and a real art book (not one of those post card sized ones). Thank you.
