Mistwalker’s next project to be revealed in Spring

PlayStation 3 Xbox 360

mistwalker-next-spring-2010

Hironobu Sakaguchi, Mistwalker CEO and father of Final Fantasy, has been working on a brand new project with his development team for quite some time now. It looks like its reveal is not too far off, as he says Spring 2010 is likely for the announcement.

“I thought we’d announce the new title within the year [2009],” Sakaguchi wrote in a blog post, “but it’s running a bit late. My apologies. Next year, perhaps Spring?”

Sakaguchi and his team are working extremely hard on the title; a title has even been set.

No platforms have been mentioned for the project. Sakaguchi’s history at Mistwalker include both Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon for Xbox 360.

Thanks,

  1. I really hope it’s Lost Odyssey 2, but Im sure whatever they announce will be fantastic!

  2. I can’t wait for Mistwalker to unveil this title. I really wish they didn’t cancel Cry On, but I know whatever they’re creating will be an art masterpiece. I also hope for Blue Dragon 2 someday.
