Resonance of Fate demo now Japanese PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE

Japan residents are in for a treat today, as Sega has released a battle system demo for tri-Ace’s next role-playing game Resonance of Fate on both the Japanese Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network services. The demo, weighing in at 683MB in size, aims to teach players how to use the game’s new t.A.B. battle system.

PlayStation Network users can go right ahead and create a Japanese account to download the demo. Xbox LIVE users, however, can create a Japanese account but would have to be gold in order to access the demo.

    Okay I downloaded it and through trial and error i’ve got the basic controls.

    Analog stick is to move

    square while holding still is to choose your path of running.(square is also to jump AFTER you chose your path)

    X is to shoot while running or just holding still

    Circle is to pass your turn to another character

    Triangle is to do a double/triple team attack(can only be performed when you form a formation

    EX: Triangle
    1 1

    1)

    R2 &L2 is to switch to your alt. weapon.

    Select is to choose your alt. weapon’s attribute or just change it overall. (NOTE: The Machine Gunner Doesn’t
    Have This Option.)

    Thats The Basic Controls! Or … All I Remember At Least.
    If I Left Anything Out Please Add To My List.

      My buttons though don’t seem to match yours, it may just be the settings. :)

      But either way, the gameplay is definitely fun. Strategy is needed for placement and enabling the Team Attack. Customization of the weapons and the skills I had heard from before may actually add more flair to the battle once maxed. I can’t wait for this. :)

    I havent tried it out yet but “I think” there is a video turorial for download.

    Downloaded it. Had no fucking clue what the hell was happening. Stoped trying after 10 minutes.
