Over at the Microsoft Press Conference at E3 2008, Capcom demoed Resident Evil 5 and Jun Takeuchi announced the release date for the game which is Friday, March 13th 2009. Japan gets it a whole day earlier though (gasp!). Who said Friday the 13th's can't be awesome?

Rest easy folks. Turns out that rumor about Resident Evil 5 becoming an Xbox 360 timed exclusive is untrue, according to Capcom's Corporate Officer and Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development, Christian Svensson.
