Damnation Pushed To Early 2009, Demo Coming A Month Before Release
We certainly didn't see this one coming. Codemasters has told Eurogamer that their upcoming shooter, Damnation, has slipped into early 2009.
"Damnation is being rescheduled for an early 2009 release," a Codemasters spokesperson told Eurogamer.

GC ‘08: Silent Hill: Homecoming Delayed to November, New Screens

Konami have announced that Silent Hill: Homecoming has been delayed at the Games Convention 2008. The PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 versions of game will now be arriving in November alongside the PC version, making it not a long delay, but a delay none the less.

Ubisoft have announced today that Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. will be facing a delay from Fall 2008 to Q1 2009. It should be releasing sometime between January and March of 2009. Along with that delay, Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway was also bumped to September '08. Sucks, don't it?

Afro Samurai Delayed to January 27, 2009
Namco Bandai have announced today that their upcoming anime adaption Afro Samurai for the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 will be hitting shelves January 27th, 2009.
This announcement delays the game from it's previous release date which was Fall 2008.

Comic-Con ‘08: Wheelman Delayed To Q1 2009
Over at Comic-Con '08, a Midway representative announced that their upcoming Vin Diesel Wheelman title, originally scheduled to ship this Fall, will be receiving a slight delay. The game in now planned for a Q1 2009 release, still beating the movie to release.
This delay is probably because of needed polishing and such.
