In a recent interview with Cliff Bleszinksi at X08, he tells us that the planned downloadable content for Gears of War 2 will hit soon after the game ships.

X08: Gears of War 2 to have Seriously 2.0 Achievement
In a new interview with Gears of War 2 lead designer Cliff Bleszinski at X08 in Toronto, he tells us that an upgraded version of Gears of War's "Seriously" achievement wll be present in the second game.
The achievement, titled "Seriously 2.0", requires 100,000 kills across the single and multiplayer campgain. Ouch. Talk about impossible.

EA to Publish New Epic IP, Suda 51 Game

Gears 2 Not Present at Lepizig Games Convention ‘08
Epic's Gears of War 2 will not be present at the upcomign Games Convention '08 in Leipzig at the end of the month. Epic's Mark Rein explains why Microsoft has decided not to bring this game to Leipzig:
"Microsoft doesn’t show Gears 2 at Leipzig because they don’t sell the game in Germany."

Epic Games President Mike Capps says that the Unreal Engine 4 is for the next generation of consoles, which he guesses will appear from 2012 to 2018, he said at Microsoft's Gamefest 2008 in Seattle this week.

Gears of War 2 Official Boxart Released
Microsoft and Epic Games have released the official boxart for Gears of War 2 today during E3 2008.
The new boxart shows Marcus Fenix standing there ready to get at some Locust. We also see a bunch of helicopters in the background with some Locust as well. Enjoy!
