On October 24th, 2008, Microsoft will release a new Xbox 360 controller with an improved d-pad. Those of you who have a 360 controller on-hand should know how the d-pad on the current controller is: basically useless.

PlayTV, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's HDTV freeview tuner & recorder announced last year for the PLAYSTATION 3, has finally gotten a release date for the United Kingdom.

Sony Computer Entertainment have today announced that PlayTV will release on September 19th, 2008 for £69.99 (US$133). Pricey, but worth it.
